Garden Faire & Plant Sale
The Garden Club of York invites the public to its annual Garden Faire Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the John & Paige Smith Building at the York State Fairgrounds. The Faire offers a wide selection of plants, gardening tools, demonstrations, and gently used household goods — all to support the club’s ongoing community projects and activities.
Shoppers will find a broad range of plants suitable for gardens large and small: annuals sold in individual pots and market packs, hanging baskets, vegetable plants including tomato plants, a variety of herbs, and water plants. Perennials, shrubs, and trees are also available. Our members also donate a large selection of mostly perennials. The Garden Shop committee will feature brand-new gardening tools and equipment. The Garden Club of York has their own version of a yard sale called White Rose Attic where you will find gently used items. A member demonstration on container planting will take place during the event, offering tips for creating attractive, healthy planters.
Proceeds from plant sales, the White Rose Attic, and the Garden Shop support the Garden Club of York’s year-round initiatives, including public garden maintenance, scholarships, and community outreach focused on horticulture and environmental stewardship.
