The Garden Club of York is proud to offer scholarships to students residing in York County, Pennsylvania who are pursuing college courses in: Biology (excluding Pre-Med), Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Architecture, Conservation, Forestry, Botany, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Environmental Control City Planning, Land Management and/or allied subjects, Wildlife Sciences, Environmental Control Rural/Urban Planning.
These scholarships are made possible by our fundraising efforts and donations made to our scholarship fund by individuals who support the goals and objectives of the Garden Club of York. Scholarship committee members evaluate scholarship applications, select recipients, and forward winning applications to the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania Scholarship Chair for further consideration of GCFP scholarships. Winners are presented to the membership at our Annual Spring Luncheon.
Scholarship information is distributed to High Schools in York County, Pennsylvania in the fall of each year.

Kaleb Lang, Spring Grove High School Student is heading to Penn State majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. Along with a $1000 Scholarship from the GCY Kaleb has also been awarded the Jane Layman Scholarship of $1000 per year for 4 years through the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania.
